Committee Spotlight: Morale

Check out this highly energetic Q and A session with Moraler, Carly Mallenbaum.

OS: First off, who is your dancer and what organization is he associated with?

Carly: Johnny! His name is Johnny Sandival from Latino Caucus.

OS: Okay, describe Morale in one word.

Carly: Energy!

OS: How many years have you been involved in THON?

Carly: This is my third THON.

OS: How did you get involved with THON?

Carly: When I came to PSU, a bunch of my high school friends got involved with THON… everyone I talked to said “you should do Morale!” So, I did.

OS: What is your favorite part of THON?

Carly: It is just like a really good dance party.

OS: How long will you be here this weekend?

Carly: [Counting] Six shifts…four hours each… plus last four hours. About 30 or so hours.

OS: What song do you most hope to hear this weekend?

Carly: I actually already heard it! It was Aaron Carter, “Come Get It”.

OS: How would you rate your dance skills?

Carly: Oh ho! Well, alone, about 8/10. But, with my dancer, it’s like 1000/10.

OS: What’s the coolest thing you have done for your dancer so far?

Carly: I made him a t-shirt that looks like a Manchester United jersey, he’s a huge soccer fan.

OS: Finally, if you were a dinosaur, which one would you be?

Carly: Pterodactyl.
