Collegian [Probably] Endorses Ragland

Update 11:40 pm: The Collegian confirms that this is their endorsement for the 2010 UPUA presidential race.

Oops!

The Collegian posted a copy of its Tuesday March 30 opinion page tonight. Gavin Keirans spotted it first and let the Penn State Twitterati know– thanks @StudentBodyPrez. We read it and downloaded a copy before the Collegian removed the PDF from its server. Here it is in all its glory. No promises that this won’t be changed before tomorrow, but I doubt it.

Point is, it looks like the Daily Collegian has chosen its horse in this presidential election. Take a gander and let us know what you think.

Penn State and the Process of Life

To paraphrase Mark Twain: The reports of higher education’s death have been an exaggeration. American universities produce more research and relevant knowledge for the world at large than any other institutions I know of. Tuition may be too damn high, but over the long-run, undergraduate degrees are definitely worth the cost. But Penn State could be so much more. It used to be, I think.
