Alabama Ticket Sale Set For Monday Morning
For those students hoping to make it to Tuscaloosa in two weeks, get to bed early on Sunday night because tickets for the September 11 match-up with the defending national champion, Alabama Crimson Tide, go on sale this tomorrow, Monday 30, at 7 a.m.
Students can start lining up at Gate B of the Bryce Jordan Center at 6 a.m. with $65 in cash and their Penn State ID card with them. Only cash transactions for tickets will be accepted and only one ticket may be purchased per person. Tickets can be picked up at the “Will Call” window at Bryant-Denny Stadium on the game day. If the number of customers exceeds the number of tickets available, a wristband lottery will be held.
More information on ticket sales can be found here.
Alabama is heading into this season with the pre-season #1 ranking and defending Heisman Trophy winner, Mark Ingram, in tow. They are the first of three 2010 BCS bowl winners that Penn State will play this year (Iowa-Orange Bowl, Ohio State-Rose Bowl), the first time this has occurred in the history of the Bowl Championship Series.
