What was the last Adam Sandler movie that was actually funny? It’s a question that will likely produce a variety of answers. I’m fairly sure every answer will require backtracking quite a few years. Grown Ups seemed like the chance to break the streak with its cast of comedians. And David Spade. Unfortunately, this movie is really the one that needs to grow up.
We all have our reasons why we love Penn State. For many of you it's probably football, or maybe the Creamery. But for me, it's the farmer's market downtown.
On Tuesdays and Fridays from 11:30 to 5:30, Locust Lane (right across from the HUB Lawn) is transformed into the local farmer's market. The colors of the produce and the buzzing of the people walking through illuminate the usually quiet street.
The Bryce Jordan Center will host the 2010 Wedding Showcase this Sunday, beginning at 11 a.m. The event will feature over 70 local wedding vendors, who will put on a fashion show to exhibit their latest wedding trends to hundreds of brides-to-be.
Penn State students will get another chance to show the country just why we are the best student section in the nation when we go on the road to take on Iowa.
The showdown is next Saturday, October 2nd at 8 p.m.
Penn State’s Institute for the Arts and Humanities will make every science fiction fan at PSU squeal with glee on the weekend of October 15. On that weekend, they will hold a film festival consisting of a smorgasbord of legendary sci-fi films. More specifically, there will be films predicting how our world will go to Hell in a hand basket.
