Rep. Thompson to Meet with Students

Have questions about legislation regarding the economy or tuition?

Rep. Glenn “G. T.” Thompson (PA-5) will be at the Memorial Lounge of Pasquerilla Spiritual Center from 2 to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 13 to meet and greet with students. He encourages people to come out with questions about recent legislation, so now’s the time to ask why tuition is so high or if the economy has hit bottom level yet, and if so, will it now finally improve?

Even if you don’t have any questions, get out there anyway for free snacks and refreshments. Sugar is an excellent way to beat the 3 p.m. hump day slump.

Celebrate 100 Years of Social Intercourse

100 years ago, before the time of social media, and before Cosmopolitan magazine, there was the Penn State Cosmopolitan Club. Today, students can partake in International Education Week from Nov. 15-19 to bolster up those same feelings from yesteryear. And you don’t even have to pay dues.
