Bon Jovi to Perform at BJC

This morning the Bryce Jordan Center announced that legendary rock star Jon Bon Jovi and his band will perform on Feb. 9. Ticket information will be available in November, but it's not too soon to start saving up for tickets.

Lady Lions Upset Illinois

Danielle Toney and Hayley Brock both scored first-half goals and goaltender Krissy Tribbett garnered another shutout as the Lady Lions upset the No.13-ranked Lady Illini of Illinois 2-0 on Sunday in Champaign.

Jess Rosenbluth also had a couple of points as she assisted on both the Toney and Brock goals. Penn State put 10 shots on goal during the contest in contrast with Illinois' two.

UPUA Executive Board Discusses Chief of Staff, Safety

The Executive Board of the University Park Undergraduate Association continues to work on defining the role and official procedures regarding the Chief of Staff. You'll recall the tense situation two weeks ago when President Christian Ragland appointed Dustin Dove to the position without approval of the Assembly.

UPUA has not met as a whole since that episode, and the Executive Board met last Saturday to discuss this and other issues.

“Successful and Productive” Meeting for Eco-Action

Following yesterday's meeting with President Graham Spanier, Vice President for Student Affairs Damon Sims, and Steve Maruszewski from the Office of Physical Plant, Eco-Action feels that the foundation has been established to allow student involvement in the administrative efforts toward campus sustainability.

“Ain’t Nothing Wrong” With Robert Randolph

Tuesday night was "Family" night at The State Theatre as Robert Randolph & The Family Band performed, promoting their new album, "We Walk This Road". In an interview with Robert before the show, he said it was the band's second time performing in State College, the first being a bar show he believed to have been at Cafe 210 West.
