Urban Meyer Retires (Again)

Joe Paterno being awesome, Penn State fans being mad at Ed Dechellis, and Urban Meyer retiring are all becoming December trends in sports.

University of Florida’s head football coach, Urban Meyer, stepped down from his position, but will still coach the Gators when they take us on in the Outback Bowl.

This is the second straight year that Meyer has retired. Last year he retired at the end of December, but reversed his decision and came back just days later. When JoePa finally does decide to step down, he will have to go to this guy for tips.

Meyer cited wanting to spend more time with his family as his reason for leaving, and would not put a timetable on any potential return.
