Keeping with one of the most useful recent THON traditions, CATA will be offering all-night LOOP service through this weekend. While THON will be (for the most part) 46 back to back hours of music, one of the highlights are the live bands. This year's lineup is a good mix of THON veterans and newcomers. Check out the bands, and what you should know about them, after the jump.
The Penn State women’s basketball team suffered their seventh loss of the season on Thursday, losing to Ohio State 89-67. With the loss, Penn State drops to 21-7 overall and 10-4 in the Big Ten. The Lady Lions are technically still in the hunt for the regular season Big Ten title, but this would require Michigan State to lose their final three games and Penn State to win their last two. Barring this unlikely circumstance, the Lady Lions will most likely finish the regular season in second place.
Penn State's final two games are both at home. Next up for the Lady Lions is Purdue on Thursday at 7 p.m. In their first meeting of the season, Purdue won on their home court 79-69. Penn State has a strong home record, however, and will hope to finish the season with some momentum heading into the Big Ten Tournament.
