Parties for Your Pleasure

Warning: You should probably be 18+ if you want to read this article…

Penn State was just crowned number two party school, but in addition to endless fraternity parties, the typical Wednesday night at Indigo and more barhopping,is one other type of party that has flown under the majority of student’s radars.

These are called “Pleasure Parties” and host Pamela Luu brings them to you. And yes, male readers, these are exactly what they sound like. However, do not let your imagination take you to visuals of girls in lingerie getting into pillow fights, because Pamela’s mission is a little deeper than that.

As someone who has always been comfortable with the topic of sex, Pamela is an independent consultant who entertains as well as educates. She first became involved in the business side of sex toys by quenching her curiosity and attending a party herself. She told Onward State, “I have to say that I do love that I get to be a part of a woman’s empowerment.” Not many people think these two things go hand and hand, but Pamela seems to prove them wrong.

There are several events that range from at-home parties to “Sex Toys 101” workshops to female organizations. The typical “pleasure party” features products from the “For Your Pleasure” collection, brought to you by the company that Pamela works with.  They have over 1,200 products available. A hostess contacts Pamela, and then the store is brought to the party guests for their convenience. Each party starts with everyone’s favorite part, the awkward icebreaker. It allows the ladies to become more comfortable around each other whether they are members of a sorority or just friends in general.

The products range from pampering essentials to higher-end toys, so all different experience levels can be satisfied. Pamela shows each item, explains how it works, why someone would want it, and then the care of products. Then everyone uses his or her senses of touch and taste in order to have a more “hands on” experience.

There is no need to be shy! A guest can either publically or privately ask Pamela any questions. Pamela puts her experience into each and every customer, so she can make the best decision. Also, no matter the budget, there are products that can be bought for anyone’s allowances. The most expensive is called the “Sexy ‘Lil Pole” stripper pole which is $199, while the least expensive is the “Sex Dice” which is $3.

Most girls have probably never seen the things that Pamela whips out of her trunk, but it is a unique experience to become educated, learn about self-pleasuring, and hear too much information about your friends. Whether you are 18 or 60+, Pamela’s parties bring something for everyone.

Pamela Luu does not only do parties; she has held events at the Mezzanine, donated products for fundraising, hosted the “Vagina Monologues” which included raffle items in order to raise money for Ovarian Cancer Research, and the upcoming State College Young Professional’s Kentucky Derby event where money will be given to the YMCA of Centre County.

So whether you are curious or just need something for your friends to do on a random day, be sure to contact Pamela Luu. She’s got all the buzz on sex, sex-toys, condoms, and etc. Want to host a party? If you do, some of the benefits include access to a host-only item selection and discounts.
