More 2011 Kickoff Times Announced, Including Alabama

The Big Ten released the kickoff times for the first three weeks of the season, which includes two Penn State home games. The highly-anticipated showdown with Alabama will be a 3:30pm kickoff and will be televised on ABC. Penn State will host Indiana State on September 3 at 12pm. That game will be televised by the Big Ten Network.

Shrive Pursuing a Lofty Lift For Life Goal

Penn State offensive lineman Eric Shrive set a record for individual fundraising at last year's Life for Life event, but he plans to almost double that total to $15,000 this year. Lift for Life is held every year by the Penn State chapter of Uplifting Athletes and benefits kidney cancer research.

Penn State will offer a 30-credit master's degree in educational leadership available online through World Campus. This program will allow teachers to complete their master's degree while still being able to hold a teaching position.
