Apply to be a 2012 THON Captain!

The beginning of a new academic calendar also brings the start of another type of calendar: Countdown to THON. To get the ball rolling on the world’s largest student-run philanthropy, THON Overall Committee Chairpersons will be selecting captains for almost all of of their respective THON committees. Captains are in charge of a number of things including leading a group of student volunteers within their committee, assisting in the planning of THON events throughout the year, and holding a separate leadership position within their committee. Captain positions are open to any student, however, prior THON experience is preferred on many committees. Applications for these positions are due by Friday, August 26th and are available here. Captain positions are available for the following committees:

Communications

Donor & Alumni Relations

Entertainment

Family Relations

Finance

Hospitality

Morale

OPPerations

Stay tuned to Onward State to find out when committee applications will be available. Don’t miss your chance to be a part of THON 2012!
