‘Bama Campout to Begin Sunday Night at Paternoville

With only 12 more days until #2 Alabama visits Happy Valley, the anticipation is already building. This Sunday night, Paternoville will also be building outside of Gate A at Beaver Stadium.

Due to the Labor Day holiday, when classes will not be in session for students, the Penn State Athletic Department will allow Paternoville to set up camp on Sunday night in preparation of arguably the most hyped game in recent Beaver Stadium history. The anticipated volume of campers factored into the decision, according to PCC President John Tecce, and all parties agreed that it would be better to have Paternoville set up for Labor Day instead of forcing students to wait all day.

On Sunday, September 4th, ANGEL registration for the Alabama campout will take place at 7 P.M. Campers must then report to Gate A at Beaver Stadium by 8 P.M. and tents will go up at approximately 11 P.M. Check the Paternoville Facebook and Twitter pages for details later this week.

If you have never done Paternoville before, I would highly recommend reading this.

For those interested in camping out this week for Indiana State, ANGEL registration will begin at 9pm on Wednesday evening. At least one member of each group should be present at Gate A by 10pm, and tents will go up at 11pm in preparation for Penn State’s home opener this Saturday.
