SPA Late Night Gets Trippy with Banachek

America’s leading OMG I think I’m on acid mentalist is set to kick the crafts to the curb at this weekend’s SPA Late Night. Banachek (@Banachek) will be performing his mind-bending psychic stunts in Heritage Hall at 10:00 this Friday.

His out-of-this-world antics have been featured on multiple television programs including Criss Angel Mindfreak, Pittsburgh Today and ABC Nightline. Banachek has also shared the stage with the biggest names in magic, such as Penn & Teller, Lance Burton and David Blaine.

As a two time college entertainer of the year and college novelty artist of the year winner, Banachek is someone you should check out if you’re looking to have a trippy weekend and can’t find mushrooms.

But if a week of classes messed with your head enough already, SPA has a few other activities for the sober late nighters of Penn State. The 2011 badass chick flick, Hanna—-basically The Bourne Identity, if Jason Bourne were a 13-year old girl–will be shown Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 7, 9:30, and midnight in the HUB auditorium.

There will also be crafts to be made on the ground floor and swing dance lessons in Alumni Hall. For a full list of SPA Late Night events, head over to their website or Facebook.
