‘No Kings’ Day Of Action Draws Thousands To Old Main

Over 2,000 protesters gathered at Old Main on Saturday afternoon as part of a nationwide “No Kings” Day of Action, a protest against the Trump administration.

The demonstration was part of a broader movement, calling for a shared commitment to nonviolent protests.

Attendees started gathering at 1 p.m., and a few speakers spoke in front of Old Main. About an hour later, the group began marching downtown, carrying signs and chanting calls. They shared their opposition to President Trump and policies, including involvement in Iran, the Epstein files, and ICE enforcement.

Saturday’s protest marked the third “No Kings” Day of Action, following demonstrations in June and October.
