The Eagle Has Landed to Rock State College

If you enjoyed the 30 minute ballad blocks of Seal, La Bouche and Alanis Morissette on 98.7 Wish FM, there’s some bad news for you. The soft hits station has been melted down and reforged into Eagle 98.7, a down-to-the-roots rock station serving the headbanging needs of State College and its surrounding areas.

Eagle 98.7 means rock. The station promises a playlist of current alternative rock mixed with jams from through out the nineties. Some artists to grace the rotation include Stone Temple Pilots, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Breaking Benjamin, Papa Roach, Seether, 10 Years, Skillet, and Stone Sour.

You can X out of your Pandora station, because the non-stop rock force of the Eagle will be commercial and talk-free throughout this Labor Day weekend. This already makes 98.7 better than Qwik Rock 105.9 because you don’t have to listen to some idiot babble about his pathetic life before you hear the new Foo Fighters song.
