The Penn State College Democrats will be hosting a candidate for the office of Attorney General, Dan McCaffery, to speak tomorrow, Tuesday September 13, 2011 at 3:30 pm in 106 HUB.
Local indie act, Think Twice Dublin, brought the smooth jams last night at a Chronic Town show with Brooklyn retro-industrial favorites, A Place to Bury Strangers. In honor of these home-town heroes making waves in the Penn State music scene, OS decided to sit down to ask the jammy quartet a few questions.
I am now in my third week of being a senior in college. I don’t know where the next year is going to take me, I have no idea where I’m going to be 10 years from now, but today, I’m a senior in the happiest place on earth. When I walk away in nine months, I know I’ll have a place to come back to. I’m a Nittany Lion forever. Four years ago, that 18-year-old high school senior made the best decision of her life.
Students studying abroad and looking to pick up the International Studies (INTST) concurrent major may have to look a little harder to find it. In fact, as of the Summer 2011 term, the major no longer exists. In its place is the new Global and International Studies (GLOBE) major.
The 'Beat Zone' sponsored by the Blue and White society came to Beaver Stadium this past Saturday when Alabama clashed with Penn State, but it largely went unnoticed by the crowd of 107,846 fans.
By now, you've surely heard that the 2011 Homecoming Court was announced. Maybe you've even seen the video of the Court members being surprised in class. If you're an underclassman, you might be thinking to yourself, "Boy, that sure seems neat! How can I get onto the Homecoming Court?"
