For the first time in two weeks, a Friday night at Penn State will not feature a pep rally of any sort for the football team. Beaver Stadium may be empty, but Rec Hall will not be as Penn State Women's Volleyball hosts Long Island, Rutgers, and Florida Gulf Coast in the Hampton Inn Classic.

Penn State is looking to rebound from a 27-11 drubbing at the hands of Alabama against Temple on Saturday. The Nittany Lions head to Lincoln Financial Field, the home of the Philadelphia Eagles (and technically the home field of Temple), where they will be greeted with a majority Penn State crowd. As Onward State posted earlier this week, it has been a while since Penn State last lost to Temple.
Penn State students making the trip from State College to Philadelphia for Saturday's noon football clash against Temple at Lincoln Financial Field will have plenty of entertainment options around the city before and after the game.
