Paterno’s Final Home Game is a Hot Ticket

After Joe Paterno’s official announcement today that he will retire following the season, hordes of loyal fans are seeking a chance to see Paterno’s final home game in person.

As of 3:50, the Penn State student ticket exchange had zero tickets listed for purchase. Fans seeking non-student tickets are seeing rising costs as well. On Stub Hub, the lowest tickets are starting at $144 and the highest reach $5,000. Tickets range in price on  Craigslist, but the validity of items on the site often varies as well.

Costs are almost sure to increase, so it is recommended to purchase tickets as soon as possible before those selling acknowledge demand and raise prices.
