Hot Dogs and Free Hat: PSU-Iowa Preview

The Hot Dog is a staple of America. First introduced to North America by the Pilgrims, the Hot Dog is one of the last truly American things we can take solace in. For the last time this season, we Penn State students have an incredible opportunity to revel in the glory of the American staple, the hot dog, for just one hard-earned American dollar.

Where can you take advantage of such patriotism you ask? This all goes down tonight at the Penn State basketball game.

Are you a true American? Or will you let our freedom be infiltrated by outsiders? If you love America, you’ll come out to the Bryce Jordan Center tonight at 8 pm to watch the fightin’ Tim Frazier’s (11-15, 3-10 Big Ten) square off with Iowa (13-15 overall, 5-7 Big Ten).

Oh yeah, you’ll also get this snazzy hat. If you missed out on the trendy snapback from the Wisconsin game, you can probably finagle this hat to mimic the current trend of the hipster population on campus.

I will conclude with the wise words of Eric Cartman: “If you offer a free hat maybe people will show up.”

Be an American. Eat a hot dog. Get free merchandise. Support the basketball team.
