Coach Bill O'Brien has made quite a few splashes since his hire in January, but none bigger than signing 5 star tight end Adam Breneman out of Cedar Cliff High School (Camp Hill, PA). Breneman hauled in 72 passes for 1,120 yards with 12 touchdowns during his junior season, while earning an invitation to the Under-Armour All American game and the designation of #1 tight end recruit in the country. Evan Ponter and running-mate Ryan Kristobak held an informal "chill sesh" campaign meeting yesterday afternoon on the lawn of Old Main.
Surrounded by supporters, including the likes of the Penn State Boombox Guy and local musician Chewi (who recently wrote a song for their campaign), Ponter and Kristobak took in some sun, played guitar, and threw the frisbee around for a couple hours.
