Video: Former BOT Candidate Discusses Paterno Statue Removal
Class of 1964 alumnus and former Board of Trustees candidate, Vincent Tedesco, sits outside of Beaver Stadium in a lawn chair. Gripped tightly in his hands is a cardboard cut-out of a young Joe Paterno. By his feet rests a copy of “A Test of Faith and Courage: Patton’s Raiders in WWII.”
A camoflauged Penn State ROTC hat rests upon his grey head, shielding his determined eyes from a blaring State College sunshine, but not shielding his undying disapproval of President Erickson’s decision to remove the Joe Paterno statue from his face.
