Overheard on Twitter: Decisions to Stay at PSU

Yesterday, we provided an update regarding  the 2013 recruiting class following Monday’s sanctions. Many of them took to Twitter and other social media sites to offer support of Penn State and, for now, affirm their commitments.

Over the past two days, several current players have also announced their intentions to remain with the program on Twitter. Below is a storify compiling several of these tweets. It is important to note that there are additional players besides those included below who have confirmed they will remain with the Penn State program. Others have indicated their decision in a different manner.

Ryan Nowicki, a redshirt freshman offensive lineman, who did not appear on Bill O’Brien’s early June depth chart, is the currently the only player electing to transfer. Additionally, Khairi Fortt was included below despite speculation surrounding his status.
