Choosing Penn State was the best decision I have ever made. Yet now, it's time to move on and resurrect the reputation of our university.
What has gone on at Penn State over the past eight months is unfathomable, but we are more than just a disgraced football program. Our leaders failed us and the students will be the ones to lead the University back to prominence.
When opening ceremonies for the 2012 Olympic Games begin this Friday, a school-record 19 Penn Staters will walk the London Olympic Stadium, representing eight countries: the United States, Canada, Great Britain, Israel, Jamaica, Mexico, Puerto Rico, and Suriname. Among the 19 are four current Nittany Lion student-athletes, 14 alumni, and one coach.
