Jessica Valenti to Visit Penn State
Jessica Valenti, author of Full Frontal Feminism, and founder of Feministing, will be paying a visit to Penn State tomorrow. She will be speaking about “Why Feminism Matters: Using Activism to Battle Rape Culture.”
Valenti was supposed to come and speak to the campus back in March, but her talk had to be rescheduled.
There will be a meet and greet with her at 5 p.m. in 216 Willard, followed by her presentation at 7 p.m. in the HUB-Robeson Auditorium.
This event was co-sponsored by the Center for Women’s Studies and the Women’s Studies department.

Eric Hutchinson to Perform at Nittany Block Party
Pop crooner Eric Hutchinson will be performing in Happy Valley as part of SPA’s 3rd Annual Nittany Block Party when the school year begins on August 30th. His performance is one that will keep everybody in great spirits.
