Maybach Music Coming to the BJC on November 4th

UGH (Rick Ross voice)!

Earlier today, hardcore hip-hop heavyweights Maybach Music Group announced a month-long, nation-wide tour including a pit-stop at the Bryce Jordan Center on November 4th.

Rick Ross, Meek Mill, and Wale will headline the Sunday show, and recent XXL Magazine Freshman Machine Gun Kelly will be the opening act. DJ Scream will serve as the host DJ the concert.

Self-Made Volume 2, the second compilation album from MMG, was released back in June. Soon after, Ricky Rozay dropped his fifth album, God Forgives, I Don’t in July featuring the single “3 Kings” featuring Dr. Dre and Jay-Z.

Tickets cost $29.75, $49.75, and $69.75, will go on sale this Friday, September 28th at 10am at BJC ticket locations and livenation.com. Students will receive a $10 discount, courtesy of UPAC.

The Bryce Jordan Center is on a roll with booking high-profile acts lately. This Fall, Cobra Starship, Tiesto, Zac Brown Band, Wiz Khalifa, Bruce Springsteen, Carrie Underwood, and now the Maybach Music Group will be making appearance at Penn State. That’s quite an eclectic mix of musical talent.

With that said…. Meek-Millville in the HUB, anyone?

Kyle Chase Johnson Painted on Inspiration Mural

A week after 2012 Penn State graduate Kyle Chase Johnson tragically died while running the Pittsburgh half marathon, local muralist Michael Pilato painted his likeness on the Heister Street mural, a fitting tribute for a man who, by all accounts, was a quintessential Penn Stater.

Alumni, What State College Bar/Restaurant Would You Bring Back Downtown?

Do you yearn for cigarette ash-dusted grilled cheeses from “quintessential shithole” Grillers? Or a night out at G-Man with your old frat bros? Or have evenings of drinking felt incomplete ever since Canyon moved across Beaver and got rid of its sticky blue picnic tables?

Penn State Lacrosse Could Be Latest Team To Start Historic Run In Philadelphia

It’s hard not to draw parallels between this year’s lacrosse team and a couple other Nittany Lion teams that have used the City of Brotherly Love as a launching pad to sustained success.
