Gameday Coverage: Penn State vs. Iowa

Happy Saturday afternoon! Hopefully everyone is enjoying some of the early college football action leading up to tonight's game in Kinnick Stadium where the Penn State Nittany Lions (4-2, 2-0) are set to take on the Iowa Hawkeyes (4-2, 2-0) in a battle of two teams with unblemished conference records to this point. The Hawkeyes are led by Kirk Ferentz, the longest tenured coach in the Big Ten, who has walked the sidelines since in Iowa City since 1999. Bill O'Brien will be looking for his fifth consecutive victory in his first season with the Nittany Lions. Below is all of the information and media coverage for tonight's contest.

Iowa Student Government Promotes Sportsmanship

In anticipation of what is sure to be a hostile environment at Kinnick Stadium tonight when the Iowa Hawkeyes (4-2, 2-0) host the Penn State Nittany Lions (4-2, 2-0), University of Iowa Student Government (UISG) sent a mass email to all Iowa students Friday afternoon encouraging good sportsmanship and no booing when the Nittany Lions take the field. UISG president Nichols Pottebaum talked to us to explain the reasoning and timing behind the email.
