The Young To Liven Up The State College Music Scene

Tonight, Roustabout! is bringing another musical act to State College. This time, it’s Texas psychedelic rock band The Young, and local State College indie/folk band Free Rollercoaster.

The Young is an underground rock band from Austin, Texas, formed in 2007 and signed to Matador Records. After appearing on Matador’s Casual Victim Pile compilation in 2010, the band took a more experimental approach, recording the Voyagers of Legend LP.

The Young will be joined by Free Rollercoaster, an interesting indie band from State College describing themselves as folky acoustic ukulele German pop.

The show is tonight at 8 p.m. at Chronic Town. There is a cover charge of $8, and you must be 18 to get in.
