THON Announces Dance With Us Initiative

THON announced today the first ever “Dance With Us” celebration, a globally coordinated line dance. The initiative is the first of its kind, and will take place during THON weekend February 16th at 6:45 p.m. The goal is to have THON enthusiasts worldwide all perform a 30 second line dance at the same time. This will give everyone who is unable to be at the Bryce Jordan Center on THON weekend a chance to partake in the fun and awareness of THON weekend.

“We anticipate this program to inspire line dances and viewing parties for THON Weekend across the globe,” said Will Martin, THON Overall Chairperson. “This will allow Penn State fans and pediatric cancer fighters to feel like they are in the Bryce Jordan Center from any location.”

The tutorial of the line dance will be released on Wednesday January 16th, and participants are encouraged to send in pictures or videos rehearsing the line dance up until THON. For more information you can visit THON’s website, and be sure to share #DanceWithUs.
