McAllister Building Water Line Collapses, Building Shutdown

According to a PSU Text sent earlier this afternoon, a water line collapsed in the first floor of McAllister Building, causing the building to be shutdown and evacuated. According to Penn State, the break has caused “significant damage to the first floor” and the electricity needed to be shut off.

The building is not expected to open until tomorrow morning at the earliest.

Students who have class in McAllister today should check with their instructors for an alternative meeting location.
