Gay Valley

I want to believe that there is some small chance that I might be able to lend a hand to a young person like yourself, who is in the best time ever in US history to be gay/lesbian/queer/trans/allied or otherwise different, and isn’t having the best time.

Former Penn State All-American offensive and defensive end Dave Robinson was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame this weekend, the sixth Penn Stater to ever attain that status. Robinson, a 1962 All-American for Rip Engle's Nittany Lions, was a three-year letterwinner at Penn State. Joe Paterno was also an assistant coach that year. Robinson was drafted in the first round (14th overall) in the 1963 NFL draft and enjoyed a 12-year career as a linebacker for the Packers and the Redskins.

Discrepancy Adds Additional THON Dancer Couple

In just 11 days, a record 710 participants will dance in THON 2013 -- two more than the usual 708 due to an inconsistency in the rulebook and the dancer registration packet. That number -- along with multiple THON volunteers, friends, Four Diamonds children, and media -- is a number THON has determined to be the safest given capacity limits.
