Drunk Sober High
Much has been made this week about the Penn State Interfraternity Council's "day long" policy, sending some Greeks into a sober pandemonium, upset that the beloved spring tradition would be no more. The no day long rumors were intensified by a misinformed Total Frat Move post supporting a petition addressed to the IFC that simply said "WE WANT DAYLONGS!" But here's the truth.
A strong start was not enough to stop Penn State's season from coming to an end at the hands of the No. 6 Michigan Wolverines in the first round of the Big Ten tournament at the United Center in Chicago. The 5th-seeded Wolverines (26-6, 13-6) quickly overcame a 14-3 deficit to defeat the Nittany Lions (10-21, 2-17) 83-66.
The seedings for the NCAA Championship have been released. Ed Ruth is the only Nittany Lion seeded first, with Quentin Wright, David Taylor, and Matt Brown all seeded-second as Penn State looks to capture its third consecutive national championship in wrestling.
Thursday night make sure to "dress to impress" as you could find yourself a date at "A Relay Affair" -- Relay For Life of Penn State's 3rd annual date auction -- at Beta Theta Pi.
