Watchdog: University Names Director of Ethics

The University named Regis Becker its first Director of Ethics and Compliance yesterday. With this title, Becker will be charged with supervision of all federal, state, and local laws, as well as internal policies. His post comes from the preliminary recommendations of Louis Freeh.

"Regis Becker's range of distinguished experience in corporate compliance, security and law enforcement makes him the ideal person to implement and oversee clear, comprehensive and exemplary principles and procedures for the University," President Rod Erickson said in a release.

The Penn State All-Sports Museum Celebrates Women’s History Month

The Penn State All-Sports Museum will celebrate Women's History Month with a series of events over the next two weeks, including two guest speakers and a film viewing. All events are free and will be held in the Clemen’s Family Theater in the Museum.

IHOP Coming to State College

It's a day of big restaurant announcements in State College -- first Quaker Steak & Lube and now IHOP set to open in the State College area. The popular breakfast restaurant will open at the old Perkins location at 1661 S. Atherton St. where a sign saying "Coming Soon" designed like the IHOP logo has been for the last few months.

Bill O’Brien Coming to a City Near You

After great success last spring, the Penn State Coaches Caravan is back for a second straight year, making 12 total stops over a 10-day span beginning with lunch in Reading and dinner in Philadelphia on Tuesday, April 30th. The trip will be headlined by Bill O'Brien at every location with other coaches making appearances along the way.

Wisniewski, Dozier Appear on College HOF Ballot

Two Penn Staters -- offensive guard Steve Wisniewski and running back D.J. Dozier (right) -- will appear on this year's College Football Hall of Fame ballot, it was announced today. The two Penn State legends will hope to join 22 Penn Staters before them in the College Hall of Fame -- the sixth most all-time among college programs.
