Franco Harris Named New Curator of TEDxPS4RS
Former Penn State running back Franco Harris has been named the new curator of the annual TEDxPS4RS conference to be held on Penn State’s campus next spring.
“We are extremely excited to have Franco lead us into the next year of TEDxPS4RS,” said a spokesperson from TEDxPS4RS. “We’re not ready to move on from this previous year’s success, but I guess we don’t have much of a choice.”
The theme for next year’s event, “Yesterday’s Sanctions, Tomorrow’s Not Important,” was decided by the incoming TEDxPS4RS executive committee.
Invited speakers include:
- John Ziegler
- Cynthia Baldwin
- Neil Diamond
- Cardboard Joe Paterno
- Rodney Erickson (second time’s a charm?)
- Adam Bittner from The Daily Collegian
…with more to be announced.
The executive director of Penn State’s “Movin’ On” spring music festival was originally scheduled to speak, but Harris revoked the invitation because he hates Movin’ On.
As always, TEDxPS4RS is open to the public and tickets are Freeh.
