My Hero Zero Set to UndeRAGE

For the under-21 crowd, THON might be the only time of the year they get to hear the band My Hero Zero in action. That changes tonight as Indigo hosts the local favorite for an 18+ night.

For the first time ever, the group consisting of frontman Jason O., guitarist Michael Lee, bassist Greg Folsom, and drummer Noah Connolly will give the underage crowd a “taste at what they’ve been missing out on.”

“You may have seen us on stage at THON the past few years, seen a couple of our videos on YouTube, or even found our original songs on iTunes,” the band said on Facebook. “But now all you sub-21 year olds will get the downtown nightlife AND My Hero Zero experience all at once!”

Everything kicks off at 10 p.m. tonight at Indigo.

“We’re super excited to be teaming up with Indigo for this one-night event,” the band said on Facebook. “If you guys pack the house we’ll just have to see what we can do for the future.”

Hometown Brewery Releases Beer Honoring Evan Pugh

Penn State’s first president Evan Pugh was born in 1828 at Jordan Bank Farm, three miles south of the city center of Oxford, Pennsylvania, an hour west of Philadelphia in Chester County. One-hundred eighty-nine years later, an Oxford brewery is honoring one of the preeminent champions of “liberal and practical” higher education in the form of a delicious Porter.
