Yep, Onward State has learned that Macklemore and Ryan Lewis will make a stop at the BJC on November 7 on their “World Tour.”

Fresh off their set at Bonnaroo, the “Thrift Shop” and “Can’t Hold Us” singers tweeted last Tuesday that they were “going to be announcing something…” Their tour promotes their latest album, “The Heist,” released last October.

Get ready for what can only be an intense, pumped up night, Ben Haggerty style. Tickets go on sale this Friday at 10 a.m. on Ticketmaster.

UPDATE, 12:30 p.m.: The BJC has announced prices for the event.

General admission floor tickets will be available for $34.50 beginning Friday. Reserved seating within the Bryce Jordan Center will be available for $45 and $39.50. Tickets can be purchased online through Ticketmaster or in person at the BJC, Eisenhower Auditorium, the Penn State Downtown Theatre, or at the Ticket Outlet on Altoona’s campus. Tickets may also be purchased by phone at 800-745-3000.

A pre-sale sponsored by UPAC will be held Thursday from noon until 4:30 p.m. Tickets will be discounted $10 for students with a valid PSU ID and will be available at all University Park ticket outlets.
