Mark your calendars, Penn State. The world's largest paint party "Life In Color" (formerly DAYGLOW) will return to Penn State this fall after a successful stop last April.
In the latest chapter of "Bill O'Brien does work," 3-star defensive tackle Antoine White from Millville, New Jersey has verbally committed to Penn State. White becomes Penn State's 13th commitment for the 2014 class.
State College is reppin' on National Geographic's online "Adventure Town" series, which features 100 cities and towns all across the country worth visiting. Happy Valley came in at No. 88 on the list and is one of only two PA cities to make the cut.
Freshmen who were shut out of the ticket sale last week will get a second chance tomorrow. Penn State Athletics is paying its penance by releasing an additional 1,500 seats for students to make up for the Ticketmaster glitch that had many freshmen upset. The Ticketmaster website crashed for the first 25 minutes of the freshmen sale Thursday leaving many freshmen and Penn State ticket office employees helpless and locked out of the sale.
Our own Otto's Pub and Brewery has been nominated for the upcoming Martha Stewart American Made Contest. The contest hopes to showcase handmade, local products by people who have a "passion for quality craftsmanship and well-designed goods."
