PSU WBB To Play Nebraska On ESPN2’s Big Monday

For the third straight year, the Penn State women’s basketball team will be featured on national TV. On February 24th, the Nittany Lions will travel to Lincoln to take on Nebraska as a part of ESPN2’s Big Monday series. Big Mondays normally feature critical games throughout women’s basketball, and the games will take place on Mondays that fall between January 13 and March 3rd.

The Nittany Lions appear to enjoy playing on Big Monday, as they have beaten both Purdue and Ohio State during those games the past two years.

The team is poised for another late tourney run as the team returns both Maggie Lucas (2013 Big 10 Player of the Year) and Dara Taylor (Big 10 All-Defensive team choice). The team also brings in a freshman class that ranks top ten in the country.
