You Can Help Design the First Ever THON Mosaic

Calling all artists: THON is creating a historic mosaic and they want YOU to design it!

The Dance Marathon Alumni Interest Group — aka DMAIG — announced the contest earlier this summer and the deadline is this Friday. The mosaic will be installed on campus and will eventually feature photos submitted by the THON community. To see some examples of photo mosaics, check out Picture Mosaic’s website. They’ll be providing the mosaic for DMAIG once it’s finished.

The contest is open to anybody — students, alumni, 0r supporters of THON — as long as it is made with a wide range of colors. THON or Four Diamonds Fund logos can be used but are not required. The winner will be selected by the DMAIG Executive Board and select members of the Penn State Alumni Association and will be announced on September 5. Once this step is completed, the community will be encouraged to send their THON photos to be featured within the mosaic.

Need more details? You can get all the info here.

Submit your design and you could be a part of a constant on-campus reminder of Penn State’s commitment and dedication to conquer pediatric cancer. FTK!
