Kick Off This Weekend With the A Cappella Fall Sampler

Whether you are already an avid fan of PSU’s A Cappella scene or you want to check it out for the first time, don’t miss the Fall Sampler this Friday night in 102 Forum. Doors open at 9:30 p.m. and the show will begin at 10 p.m.

All 13 of Penn State’s A Capella groups will be showing off what they’ve got in the same place at the same time. It really doesn’t get much easier to fill your night with some energetic a cappella tunes than this, folks. Admission is free.

Here’s a little sneak-peak at the program, for those of you who know the groups well (or for those who just want to be sure to catch their pals):

  • The Pennharmonics
  • Grace Notes
  • Shades of Blue
  • Savoir Faire
  • The Dreamers
  • Blue in the FACE
  • The Statesmen
  • Rhythm of Faith
  • 4 the Glory
  • The Leading Tones
  • NOTA
  • No Strings Attached
  • The Coda Conduct

So if you’re looking for an out of the ordinary and/or musical way to pass your Friday night, stop by Friday night to hear your classmates belt out some tunes. Many of these groups compete throughout the Mid-Atlantic region, so they’re sure to impress. Here’s the Facebook event.
