SAAB Auctioning Penn State Sports Memorabilia For THON

The Penn State Student-Athlete Advisory Board (SAAB) is hosting an online auction to raise money for THON, selling 24 items that would interest just about any Penn State sports fan. The auction runs until Tuesday, December 10 at 3 p.m., so there’s plenty of time to get your hands on some Nittany Lions memorabilia.

Here’s a full list of the items SAAB is auctioning off:

  • Men’s basketball Coaches Box seats for the Nebraska game on January 23
  • Bill O’Brien autographed football with the message “We Will!”
  • Wrestling head gear autographed by four three-time national champions
  • “Penn State Football Game Day Experience” for the UMass game on September 20, 2014. including behind-the-scenes passes to get on the field, meet B94.5’s PJ Mullen, see the stadium sound booth, and more
  • 30-minute photoshoot with the Nittany Lion at landmarks on campus
  • Penn State golf outing package (four 18-hole greens fees with carts on the university courses)
  • Ultimate Gymnastics Package (10 items of Penn State women’s gymnastics apparel)
  • Football Fan Package (an official game-used helmet, game-ready gloves, and an Iron Lion t-shirt)
  • Lady Lions basketball practice VIP, photoshoot, and an autographed basketball
  • Penn State baseball VIP experience for the Kent State game on April 24, 2014
  • Lionettes Spirit Package
  • 25-lb. Weight Plate autographed by Craig Fitzgerald
  • Official Penn State Golf Gear Package
  • Penn State Basketball Game Day Experience (choice of men’s or women’s game)
  • Meet-and-greet with Pat Chambers
  • Meet-and-greet with Guy Gadowsky
  • Meet-and-greet with Erica Walsh
  • Game-worn men’s ice hockey jersey (Max Gardiner, the team’s first player drafted to the NHL)

Whether you want a meet-and-greet with one of our esteemed coaches, some signed gear, or a fan package so that you can rep blue and white every day, there are plenty of options available at the SAAB online auction to support both THON and Penn State Athletics. You need to register on the website first, but as long as you have a computer and a credit card you can participate in the auction.
