THON 2014 to be Featured on ABC World News with Diane Sawyer Tuesday

What a weekend. Time to relive it.

Courtesy of an email from Four Diamonds Fund Director Suzanne Graney, ABC World News with Diane Sawyer was at THON filming all weekend. Tonight on the ‘America Strong’ segment from 6:30-7:00 p.m., they’ll be unveiling the coverage for a national audience. They spent the weekend following one of the Four Diamonds families and shot some wonderful footage of the event throughout.

This is one of several times THON has been featured on such a large scale — it has received mentions previously in the New York Times and on the Today Show and Good Morning America — so be sure to tune in on your local ABC station (005 on Comcast and Windstream in State College) to watch the full special, and relive some of the incredible moments from a weekend in which the Penn State community raised $13,343,517.33 for the kids.

Update: We’ve received word that the segment will air Tuesday night instead of tonight.
