DOTD: Backstreet Boys at the BJC in 2000

If you were at THON this weekend, you definitely noticed “Everybody (Backstreet’s Back)” by the Backstreet Boys starting off the line dance. Chances are, it’s still stuck in your head.

Well, way before most undergrads were even teenagers, the Backstreet Boys kicked off its “Into the Millennium Tour” on February 11-12, 2000. The concerts were filmed and lucky for us, someone put one of them on YouTube.

As much as I am ashamed to say, I know most of these songs due to my older sister’s infatuation with the group, like almost every pre-teen girl back in the day. While you really should watch the entire concert, at least make sure you watch the very end, when the band performs its biggest hit, “I Want It That Way,” in personalized Penn State football jerseys.
