Sue Paterno, a well-known community advocate and Penn State's finest matriarch, was hospitalized Thursday morning. Dan McGinn, a spokesperson for the Paterno family, says Sue Paterno fell and was hospitalized for observation. The family says she fell while on Penn State's campus.
