Renaissance Man/Coach Herb Hand To Appear On ‘Chopped’

When offensive line coach Herb Hand isn’t busy coaching football or organizing pizza crawls, he’s apparently quite the cook.

The show, which airs on Food Network, pits four contestants against one another who have minimal time to make an appetizer, main course, and dessert with typically unusual ingredients. The contestants are judged after each round, with the worst contestant being “chopped” (HA) until one true champion remains. Unfortunately for Penn State fans, the episode was shot last year so Hand will most likely be wearing Vanderbilt attire. Still, Coach Hand on reality TV is not exactly something you’ll want to miss.

The episode is set to air on June 10, and you can read a little more about the episode here.
