Distraction of the Day: Football Season Dawns
With only 12 days until football season (whoa), Penn State athletics pulled out all the stops for the hype video it posted over the weekend.
Basically, it’s four minutes of Beaver Stadium shots, behind-the-scenes footage of practice, shots of the team losing its collective mind at practice and during last season’s games, and other things designed to make the days crawl until Dublin. All of that is dubbed over voices providing motivational messages for a goosebump-enducing effect:
Penn State athletics is really going hard on its preseason videos this summer, having rolled out about 60 videos (they’re all included in the above playlist if you want to peruse). It’s also currently rolling out a series of behind-the-scenes preview videos that go position-by-position through the team, which are pretty sweet.
