Public speaker and sister of Nicole Brown Simpson, Denise Brown, will speak at Heritage Hall in the HUB on October 6. When her sister Nicole was famously murdered -- for which her ex-husband O.J. Simpson was tried and acquitted -- Brown began raising awareness against domestic violence, which accounts for the death of four females per day in the United States. Sponsored by the Center for Women Students, Brown will share her life story and speak about the domestic violence epidemic.
Later this evening, Penn State Law will be hosting “The Redskins Trademark and Appropriation of Native American Names and Images,” a talk that discusses the many legal and non-legal implications surrounding the issue. This hour-long event will consist of two speakers followed by a 20-minute question-answer session.
