For only the second time this season, the No. 12 men's soccer team found itself unable to find the back of the net. The team suffered a 2-0 loss to No. 16 Michigan State on Saturday, its second loss in as many games.
With Penn State’s hockey game with no. 19 Alaska Fairbanks (3-0-0) resulting in a 4-3 win for the Nanooks, UAF was declared winner of the Brice Alaska Goal Rush. It finished the tournament with a record of 2-0-0, while Penn State finished 0-1-1.
