SPA Survey Asks Students For LateNight Suggestions

Want to see Tove Lo perform her smash hit, “Habits (Stay High)“? Did you love All Time Low in high school like I did and want to see the band in concert? SPA just might make that happen for you, but first, you have to let it know what you want by taking this year’s SPA LateNight survey.

In the survey, you tell SPA which musical genres you enjoy and want to see more of in LateNight concerts. Then, simply check off the artists and bands you want to see perform at Penn State. The choices range from popular up-and-comers like Clean Bandit of “Rather Be” fame, to more well-known artists like Rita Ora and Ingrid Michaelson.

As Executive Director Liz Malara said in our post on SPA’s free concerts earlier this semester, the group likes to get suggestions and feedback from students about who to bring to campus.

“SPA chooses its events by a research-voting based system,” Malara said. “Our members research hard to find acts that suit Penn State students. As much as we all may love a certain artist or comedian, we take a step back and think, ‘Will this reach an audience at Penn State?’”
