The Best of Penn State Dogs
Last week, we asked you to send us your most stately four-legged companions, and you delivered big time. Penn Staters nationwide flooded us with hundreds of pictures of Penn State dogs. After much deliberation and a good amount of “awww”-ing, we present you with the best of the best.
The Bros
These pups look like they’d fit in perfectly on Frat Row.
Jaxson JoePaw has a killer game face.
Ivan keeps it simple in a PSU hat.
Cooper really has the full bro game day outfit going on, here.
And then we have Jaeger, whose name really says it all.
Group Shots
If these pets were humans, they’d be the best friends who met freshman year and return every fall to catch up and tailgate together.
Baxter and Teddy like to nap through the football games together, but always bark for touchdowns.
Best friends Jones and Rory, on the other hand, are attentive fans.
Moose and Fenway love to cheer on Penn State in their matching outfits.
Parker, Copper, and Molly love their blue and white scarves.
Bailey, Dixie, Haley, and Coby always watch the games together in their Penn State-themed basement.
The Classic Photo-Op
These dogs traveled from near and far to take the classic campus picture at the Nittany Lion Shrine.
Tiger – Pittsburgh, PA
Pearl – Collegeville, PA

Gameday Attire
Some pets take it to the next level and really get creative with their gameday outfits, donning bows, skirts, and even face decals.
Laverne is absolutely killing it in her cheerleader outfit.
Same for you Lola — work it girl.
Cooper’s got on the ever-basic Nittany Lion face decal, which really suits him. He also has a bow tie for formal occasions.
Lilly is ready for the cold weather games with her lion ears hat. Fun fact: When her owner yells out QB calls, Lilly gets down on her front paws with her butt in the air, awaiting the hike!
Doc is also all bundled up for the winter weather in this snazzy getup, complete with a mane and tail.
The Beaver Stadium Bed-Dwellers
A few lucky pets have the pleasure of sleeping in their own luxurious Beaver Stadium dog bed.
Stout likes to snooze in his Beaver Stadium bed when he’s avoiding his neighbor dog, Buckeye.
Bandit also gets to sleep in the lap of luxury, with all those toys, too!
