
State College has a lot to offer. From the popular bars and nightlife to cheap pizza and, of course, Penn State football, there's no such thing as a dull moment in Happy Valley. Here are some of our highlights of the early fall entertainment in Penn State and State College:

Homecoming Court nominations are now open. Any student can nominate another student or university affiliate. Homecoming week begins September 20th.

On August 13, Penn State made the switch to an all-digital signal which drastically improved the channel selection for students living on campus. Students will now have access to 95 HD channels, 120 SD channels, and 50 digital music channels thanks to the conversion.

CNN and other media outlets are reporting that former FBI Director Louis Freeh, the university's investigator during the Sandusky Scandal, was hospitalized after a car accident.

ESPN College Gameday host Lee Corso predicted that Central Florida will wax Penn State in the Croke Park Classic this Saturday.

The cries of despair from State College bros will be replaced by the jubilee of our Pittsburgh natives by the end of the year, if everything goes according to plan.
